Some things about me you may find interesting.
My professional background is weird, I'll be the first to admit it. I've spent the past 10+ years involved in the real estate industry in one capacity or another, first as a sales associate, then working for a top producing agent in Florida as the office manager and transaction coordinator, where I handled all manner of small and large crises to get deals to close on time, while answering about 100 phone calls a day from clients. It was fast-paced, frenzied, and never dull. Then I moved across country back to my native Michigan where I transitioned to a more relaxed position as the membership manager for a local board of Realtors.
I've also simultaneously enjoyed a second career as a photographer. As the owner of West Park Photography, I have spent the last seven years documenting weddings and creating high-quality, gorgeous custom portraits. Being a small business owner means I also was hands-on with all promotion and marketing, handled the books, and worked diligently to grow my business. Additionally, I'm a lover of technology, a life long learner, and obsessive reader. I've read over 150 books in the last three years! Download Printable ResumeI am pretty awesome at the following

I believe in life long learning
My family's real estate investments sparked an interest in becoming licensed myself. I worked for about 2 years at Century 21 Town & Country in Grosse Pointe. Throughout my time there, I actively completed continuing education to enhance my industry knowledge.
A generous full academic scholarship enabled me to broaden my education with studies in mathematics, biology, graphic design and photography. While attending college, I became involved with the Emerging Scholars Program, an honors program for students pursuing a path in engineering/science. After realizing I was taking math courses for pleasure that weren't required for my major, I became an undergrad teaching assistant and also worked part-time in the Math Department's tutoring center. Teaching other students advanced mathematics (a subject that initially terrified me) was my most gratifying college experience.
I am interested in new job opportunities & challenges.
